AboutWhy Off The Grid Yoga?

Off The Grid Yoga founded by Hatha Yoga Teachers  and Ecology Enthusiasts: Laure Carter and Michele Santom has approach that brings together their love of Hatha Yoga, holistic living and eco-consciousness. At Off The Grid Yoga we endeavor to support each student to find and sustain a stress-free, joy-filled, and self-reliant life based on a yoga practice, mindful eating and conscious living.

Our purpose at Off the Grid Yoga is to offer a safe and compassionate space for those who shy away from large, fast-paced classes to explore the gifts of a yoga practice. We are inspired by the teachings of Forrest Yoga Teachers Ana Forrest and Jessica Unmani King.

Off the Grid Yoga offers group classes and private instruction in Hatha Yoga Forrest style, Holistic Health counseling and the Release Into Peace Process coaching, as well as an array of massage therapies located in Delray Beach, Florida.

Our intention is to bring more integrity in the way we move and care for our bodies, the way we think, feel and act so that we may live our lives from a place of inner and outer peace and freedom, of self love and trust in life.

Off The Grid Yoga Wellness Program aims to integrate the body, the mind and the heart. When all aspects of our being are balanced, health is achieved.

The four pillars of Off The Grid Yoga Wellness Program are:

  • Proper exercise

  • Proper relaxation

  • Proper diet

  • Proper thinking

Proper exercise is the combination of asana (yoga postures) and pranayama (yoga breathing) which creates energy, and strength and releases physical, mental and emotional stress.

Proper relaxation is achieved with a regular practice of meditation to relax the mind and decrease stress and worry. We also offer Alternative Health modalities such as Reiki and massage to create inner balance and release muscular tension.

Proper diet is integrating conscious eating and healthy living in our lifestyle, incorporating raw food for healing and detox and essential oils for a safe and healthy home and body care.

Proper thinking is the consequence and measure of a healthy mind which has harnessed the art of letting go.
