About DJ Sisco

DJ Sisco has been on the music scene since the age of 16. He fell in love with music from a small child, but music became his passion when hip hop first emerged out of the boroughs of New York. “I first heard hip hop when I was ten years old; the song was Rappers Delight and it change my life.” Soon after he began recording rap music off the radio and started rapping. When he turned11, he got his first guitar and took music lessons, “I found it to be okay and did really well, but I wasn't passionate about it.” For his thirteenth birthday he got a drum set, and this became the turing point into serious music. After saving his money and pleading with his mother to help him buy a mixer and two turntables, DJ Sisco realized that his affinity for music could quickly earn him some extra cash. He started djing at local house parties, and from there he has never looked back. “I use to practice for hours and spend all my money on the newest music.” By the time DJ Sisco turned 18, his ability to mix and produce landed him steady work with 3 local artist that needed demo tapes and a dj. He signed on with these acts and began performing all over New York City.

When DJ Sisco relocated to South Florida, he used his degree in broadcasting to work at Incredible Universe; this job connected him with a local R&B singer Stephanie who was looking for a manager at the time. In an effort to expand his musical resume DJ Sisco took on this challenge and found that he adapted a natural sales quality and his years being in the music industry afforded him the ability to get this artist signed to a local recording label.

Fast forward a few years. Never wanting to settle DJ Sisco started managing a local female hip-hop artist by the name of Lyrryk. In 2001, the two opened a small recording studio, where they developed new talent, recorded local acts, and produced various voice over work for small businesses. In 2005 the two decided it was time to close the doors on the recording studio in an effort to get back to basics and focus on their own music.

Over the last couple of years DJ Sisco has been mixing it up as the in-house resident dj for Inner Circle Sports, a bar and grill in the Coral Springs area. Never one to be idle, DJ Sisco further expanded his dossier to include event promotions djing for major artist like JT Money, Desloc Piccalo, and up and coming R&B singer Ms. NeNe.“My repertoire of music includes all forms from Hip-hop, R&B, Country, Pop, Rock, Reggaton and Salsa. I currently have over 125,000 songs and its still growing.
